DREAMLAND: More New Album Details Revealed
October 7, 2008Swedish metal band DREAMLAND will enter Andy La Rocque's (KING DIAMOND) Sonic Train Studios in Varberg, Sweden this fall to begin recording its new album for a March 2009 release via Dockyard 1. According to the group, "the recording will start in the middle of November and the album is scheduled to be mixed and mastered in the beginning of January 2009. We still have no release date or a title for the album but as soon as we have any new information we will post it [on our official web site]."
DREAMLAND last year saw both of its full-length albums released in the U.S. via Ryko Distribution / Locomotive / Dockyard 1.
The band's latest CD, "Eye for an Eye", was recorded at Joacim Cans' (HAMMERFALL) Moonshine Studio and Andy La Rocque's old studio, Los Angered Recording, where the album was also mixed. According to the group, the effort follows the melodic-yet-heavy style of their first release, "Future's Calling" (2005) "but [may] also surprise the listener here 'n' there."
